FLY & DRIVE: Sardinia departing from Cagliari

Then continue to the island of Caprera, visit the house-museum of the Italian national hero Giuseppe Garibaldi. Scenic drive along the coast. Free time in the historic center of La Maddalena. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by car to Santa Teresa di Gallura. Ferry to Bonifacio, the most Italian part of Corsica, famous for its spectacular limestone cliffs. Walk around the port area and visit the Ville Haute district, with its historic center dominated by the monumental citadel, the church of Sainte-Marie Majeure with its characteristic square bell tower, and the King of Aragon's Staircase with its 187 steps leading directly to the sea.
